Updates from Charleston Head Spa: New Technicians, High Demand, and Our Upcoming Move!

Hello, lovely people!

We’re back with another update from Charleston Head Spa, and wow, what a whirlwind it's been! We've been hustling hard, facing a few bumps in the road, but also celebrating some amazing wins that we can’t wait to share with you.


A Growing Team: Welcoming New Talent


First things first, we are thrilled to announce that our team is expanding! We’ve brought on two new incredible technicians who have already started booking up like crazy. Honestly, it's wild! The demand is so high that new appointments are opening at midnight, and they’re getting snapped up in mere minutes. We’re talking 12:00 a.m., 12:01, 12:02...and sometimes a few slots linger until six or seven in the morning, but not for long!

This is such an exciting time for us, but we totally understand how frustrating it can be for those of you trying to snag a spot. Please know that we’re doing everything we can to increase availability, and we're beyond grateful for your patience.


The Lease Hold-Up: What’s Going On?


Now, onto the not-so-great news—our new location’s lease is still unsigned. Yep, the paperwork is dragging on, and it's been quite the saga. But rest assured, we're pushing forward as quickly as possible to get everything finalized. We know how much more space and availability would mean to you, and we're determined to make it happen soon.


Rebooking Frenzy: The Good and the Challenging


It’s amazing to see so many of our clients returning! Almost everyone who visits rebooks immediately, which is a fantastic sign that you’re loving the results. Clean, healthy scalps and gorgeous hair are what we’re all about, and the positive feedback has been off the charts. We’ve even had clients say our head spa treatments are better than a full-body massage—how awesome is that?


However, this rebooking frenzy does push calendar availability further out, which we know can be a bit of a challenge for those trying to book in. Just know that every rebooking is a testament to the quality and effectiveness of our services, and we’re committed to making sure everyone has the chance to experience it.


The New Location: Bigger, Better, and More Inclusive


One of the most common questions we get is whether you can book with a friend, family member, or partner. Right now, with only two suites, each with a single bed, it’s

really tricky to coordinate. But we have some super exciting news! Our new location will have a dedicated couple's room with two beds side by side—perfect for you and a loved one to enjoy the head spa experience together.


We’re also expanding to six rooms, with a total of seven beds, which means more appointments, more availability, and more opportunities for you to book in with your favorite people. We’re working tirelessly with contractors, ordering beds, and sorting out all the details to make this space perfect for you.


The Crazy Ride: A Peek Behind the Scenes


This journey has been eye-opening, to say the least. When we first started, it was just me, and then I asked my husband Josh to join in. He’s taken on everything from social media to phone calls, scheduling, and all the paperwork for the new location. It’s been all hands on deck, with 12, 14, and sometimes even 15-hour days as we work to bring this vision to life.


Now, with four amazing technicians besides myself, we're all pitching in to keep the momentum going. Each technician brings their own unique flair to the head spa experience, and it’s been so fun to see how each personality shines through in their work. Rest assured, we are very picky about our hiring and training process—only the best for our clients!


What’s Next: Looking Ahead


As we continue to navigate this crazy, exciting journey, our focus remains on providing you with the best possible experience. We’re so excited about the new space and the opportunities it will bring to serve you better.

My daughter raved about you after she visited, so much so that she gave me a gift certificate for my birthday on July 3 to come see you! I check your website regularly and have even called and left a voicemail message (with no response) but I am unable to get an appointment. Everytime I try, you are completely booked out for the 29 days you allow. I wish I could just get on a waitlist for an email or text notification when anything opens up rather than having to guess when to check your site and guess which day/time might be open or added. It is very frustrating - especially for people working full time and trying to arrange their schedules to get in with you. I am to the point of giving up, unfortunatley, bc I don't have the time to check in everyday and check every day and time to see if there has been something open up. It seems like there has to be a better way!
