Milestones for Charleston Head Spa's New Flagship Location! A Japanese Inspired Head Spa Near You

We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you! We have officially signed the lease for our new flagship location at 1606 Ashley River Road and have taken the next

big steps in making our vision a reality. With the deposit and first month’s rent paid, we’re eagerly moving forward, getting the building ready to welcome you all into a space that embodies relaxation, scalp care, and hair care.

Progress Update: Measurements, Design, and Signage

One of the major milestones we've recently achieved is completing all the measurements for our architect. This allows them to begin the intricate process of planning where everything will go—from the placement of walls to the installation of plumbing. It's an exciting but complex process, and we're committed to ensuring every detail is perfect.

Additionally, we've contacted several companies to start designing and creating our new sign. Soon, you’ll be able to spot Charleston Head Spa from afar as you drive down Ashley River Road. Keep an eye out in the next month or two!

A Design Rooted in Nature

Our new location is more than just a physical space; it’s a reflection of our philosophy of getting back to the roots. We’re focusing on the importance of a healthy scalp as the foundation for great hair and overall well-being. This theme will be beautifully woven into the design of our space, with elements inspired by roots, trees, and the calming essence of nature.

We’re currently exploring various design elements, including flooring options. Initially, we planned to cover the existing tile with wood flooring to create a warm, homey feel. However, we recently discovered a new tile paint from Rust-Oleum that might offer an equally beautiful solution. After thoroughly cleaning the tiles, we applied two coats of this special paint, which is now curing. Tomorrow, we’ll apply a top coat to give it a glossy finish. The chosen olive green color is expected to complement the wood and

brown tones in our furniture, creating a welcoming and earthy atmosphere.

Countdown to Our Grand Opening

We are collaborating with some amazing partners to bring this vision to life. From the architectural design to the signage, everything is falling into place, and we couldn’t be more excited. As the pieces come together, we anticipate a rapid progression towards our grand opening. Keep your eyes peeled for our sign along Ashley River Road, and prepare to experience the new Charleston Head Spa in just a few short months.

While our new location is taking shape, our current space continues to thrive thanks to our incredible team of four dedicated employees. The reviews are pouring in across Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, and we couldn’t be happier with the feedback. Molly has done an exceptional job creating an inviting and relaxing environment, which is resonating with our clients.
